Jerry's Skull Cleaning is one of the largest skull cleaners in the Midwest. We give you years of experience and a fast turn-around, all at affordable prices. Our beetle colonies are active year round and are so large that your average whitetail will be stripped of meat in roughly 24 hours. We serve all people in need of skull cleaning services and offer wholesale services as well.
Dermestid Beetles
Cleanest Clean
We use dermestid beetles to give you the highest quality European mount. They are the most effective way to clean skulls. Dermestid beetles are able to remove the meat inside and out and do no harm to the small bones or paper thin nasal bones. Our beetles like their skulls fresh as possible and not dried like others.
Whitening
Bright Future
We use the best whitening method in the industry, additive-free concentrated hydrogen peroxide. Additives and powders mixed with water or low grade hydrogen peroxide result in a skull that will start to flake within a few years of whitening. Our skulls will look good for generations to come.

How to Prepare Your Skull
Turnaround
Average turn-around time for skulls is 30 days for Deer and Bear skulls. However, on rare occasions, it may take longer.
African skulls take longer to degrease, please allow 2-3 months.
Discount
We offer a $10 discount to customers who prepared their skull for the beetles. This includes removing the eyes and all excess meat from the skull such as cheeks, tongue, around the neck, and in between the lower jaw. The brain does not need to be removed.
Spoiled
Skulls that have spoiled (if it stinks/is slimy, it's spoiled) or infested with maggots are subject to an addition charge of $20.00. Beetles do not eat spoiled flesh and extremely spoiled skulls will be cleaned with a different method.
Payments
Accepted payments include a: check, MasterCard, or Visa. If a check is used it must be attached to the box with the packing list. For Mastercard and Visa payments, we will call before shipping for card information.
